In an intense clash between the Dallas Cowboys and Buffalo Bills in Week 15 of the NFL, the Buffalo Bills emerged victorious with a resounding score of 31-10. The Bills showcased their dominance throughout the game, displaying a strong offensive performance and solid defensive plays.

Dallas Cowboys Performance

The Dallas Cowboys struggled to keep up with the relentless offense of the Buffalo Bills. With only 14 first downs and limited success in both rushing and passing, the Cowboys failed to find their rhythm. Their rushing game yielded just 89 yards, averaging 4.4 yards per attempt. In the passing game, they completed 21 passes for 106 yards, without scoring any touchdowns and throwing one interception. Overall, it was a disappointing performance by the Cowboys.

The Buffalo Bills showcased their offensive prowess with 28 first downs, 351 offensive yards, and 4 touchdowns. Their rushing game was particularly impressive, accumulating 266 rushing yards and 3 rushing touchdowns. Stephon Gilmore Doesn’t Practice Wednesday

Dallas Cowboys cornerback Stephon Gilmore (shoulder) was the only player on the team’s 53-man roster that didn’t take part in practice on Wednesday due to injury. Even though Gilmore isn’t expected to practice all week after injuring his shoulder in the Week 18 regular season finale against the Washington Commanders, head coach Mike McCarthy expects him to play in Sunday’s wild-card playoff game against the Green Bay Packers. The 33-year-old could still enter Sunday’s game with a questionable tag and could be less effective if he does actually suit up. The five-time Pro Bowler is a huge part of Dallas’ strong defense, so his status is worth watching this weekend. In 17 starts in his first year for the Cowboys, Gilmore had a career-high 68 tackles (54 solo), two interceptions, 13 passes defensed, and a forced fumble.

Jalen Tolbert Scores A Week 18 Touchdown

Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Jalen Tolbert scored a touchdown in a Week 18 win over the Washington Commanders. Tolbert was only targeted three times but made two catches for eight yards, including a three-yard touchdown pass from Dak Prescott to open the scoring in the first quarter and give the Cowboys a 7-0 lead. Tolbert showed some flashes this season but played mostly in a bit role on offense, putting up a total of 22 catches for 268 yards and two touchdowns on the season.

Rasul Douglas Sits Out Of Practice

Buffalo Bills cornerback Rasul Douglas (knee) did not participate in practice with the rest of the team on Wednesday during their walkthrough. Douglas injured his knee in the team’s big Week 18 divisional win over the Miami Dolphins on Sunday night to take the AFC East title and earn the No. 2 seed for the postseason. The 29-year-old is currently up in the air to play in Sunday’s wild-card matchup against the Pittsburgh Steelers unless he can get in some practice sessions on Thursday and Friday. Douglas began the year with the Green Bay Packers and played seven games with them before joining the Bills. In his nine games (eight starts) for Buffalo, he has recorded 29 tackles (21 solo), a sack, four interceptions (one returned for a touchdown), eight passes defensed, and two fumble recoveries.

Ty Johnson To Be Limited Wednesday

Buffalo Bills head coach Sean McDermott said that running back Ty Johnson (concussion) will be limited in the team’s walkthrough practice on Wednesday. Johnson suffered a concussion in Sunday night’s big divisional win over the Miami Dolphins to close out the regular season and will now have to work himself through the league’s concussion protocol before being cleared to play this Sunday in the wild-card playoff contest against the visiting Pittsburgh Steelers. It’s a good sign the 26-year-old is limited, but it doesn’t mean he’ll be active this weekend to serve as RB depth behind James Cook. If active, Johnson has very limited DFS appeal as a change-of-pace option alongside Latavius Murray. Johnson had only 30 carries all year for 132 rushing yards while adding seven catches for 62 yards and a touchdown in 10 games in 2023.
